How to delete your data from Elfenfarm

Facebook & Instagram Data
When you connect your Facebook or Instagram account to Elfenfarm, we store an encrypted access token that allows us to read posts from your pages and post replies on your behalf. We do not store your Facebook password.
How to Delete Your Data
Option 1: Disconnect in Elfenfarm (Recommended)
- Log in to your Elfenfarm account at elfenfarm.com
- Navigate to Settings → Platform Connections (or Organization Admin → Platform Connections)
- Click Disconnect next to Facebook/Instagram
- Your access token and all associated connection data will be immediately and permanently deleted from our systems
Disconnecting Facebook also disconnects Instagram (and vice versa), as they share the same Meta authentication.
Option 2: Remove from Facebook
- Go to your Facebook Settings → Business Integrations
- Find Elfenfarm Monitor and click Remove
- This revokes our access to your Facebook account
- Contact us at privacy@elfenfarm.com to confirm deletion of any remaining data on our side
Option 3: Contact Us Directly
Send an email to privacy@elfenfarm.com with:
- Your name or organization name
- The email address associated with your Elfenfarm account
- A request to delete all data associated with your account
We will process your request within 30 days as required by GDPR.
What Data Is Deleted
When you disconnect or request deletion, we permanently remove:
- ✅ Your encrypted Facebook/Instagram access tokens
- ✅ Platform connection metadata (account name, page IDs)
- ✅ Any cached page listings
Social media posts that were already collected through monitoring are public data and may be retained as part of campaign archives. You can request deletion of these as well by contacting us.
Full Account Deletion
To delete your entire Elfenfarm account and all associated data:
- Contact us at privacy@elfenfarm.com
- We will delete your account, all documents, campaigns, responses, and platform connections
- This action is irreversible
